Our Vision:
Love God
In Matthew 22, Jesus was asked which is the greatest commandment, Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment." (Matthew 22:37-38, NIV)
We believe this is a Christ follower's first and greatest responsibility. We strive to accomplish this through building a relationship with God through study and worship.
Love People
A Christ follower's second responsibility is to love other people. Jesus continued his reply in Matthew 22 with, "And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:39-40, NIV)
We strive to accomplish this responsibility of loving others by serving within our church and in our community.
Reach the world
In Matthew 28 Jesus gave a command for all of his followers, "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, NIV)
We strive to accomplish reach the world through local outreach within our community and through U.S. and World Missions.
